Invesco Limited was established in 1991 and are authorised by the Central Bank and are an approved Registered Administrator with the Pension Authority in Ireland. We are also an Authorised Adviser as registered with the Financial Regulator. Invesco is one of the largest firms of pensions, employee benefits, actuarial consultants, and administrators in the Irish market.

In August 2019, Acumen & Trust DAC announced that Irish Life Group Limited would acquire Acumen & Trust DAC through its intermediary subsidiary, Invesco Limited.

Irish Life is owned by Canadian company Great-West Lifeco, a global leader in financial services with over CAD$1.4 trillion in assets under administration.

The combined entities have offices in Dublin and Cork and employ 225 experienced professionals. The integration of Acumen & Trust DAC with Invesco Ltd. was completed by 1st October 2021 and the combined business will operate under the Invesco Ltd. Brand. All references in this document to Invesco will mean the combined entities of Invesco Ltd. and Acumen & Trust DAC.

Invesco have been to the forefront of responding to the many challenges within pension provision in recent years, such as the volatility in investment markets and regulatory and taxation changes.

Post the Irish Life Group investment, Invesco continues to operate as an independent pensions’ consultant and administrator. The Invesco board, including former Acumen & Trust DAC Directors, and senior leadership teams will continue to run the combined business.

Invesco Ltd is wholly owned by 1939 ILIV Consulting Limited who in turn is owned by Invesco Financial Holdings Limited and Irish Life Group Limited (Irish Life Group Ltd is the parent of Irish Life Assurance PLC).

· Risk Profiler - a member can answer 8 questions which will determine their attitude to investment risk. We can then help them to review their investment strategy to ensure it matches their risk appetite

· Benefit Calculator – a member can calculate their likely benefit and to work out what additional AVC is required if they wish to increase their pension benefit or to retire early

· Cost Calculator – a member can understand the true net cost and value of making pension or AVC contributions

Member Engagement - We know that each employee will have different levels of knowledge and interest. Each employee will have different objectives and abilities to save for retirement, which will change through time. Employee communication is paramount and helps to ensure that these questions are addressed and thus assisting the employees Financial Wellness.

While there is an evolution for the provision of information with the use of technology, we find that face to face presentations and individual meetings can be most effective, especially for older employees.

ISO 27001

As part of Invesco’s overall commitment to information security and GDPR, we have implemented the requirements set out in the internationally recognised information security standard ISO 27001. This important information security standard ensures that Invesco will provide appropriate levels of assurance to Employers and Trustees to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of confidential and sensitive information including member scheme data. Invesco achieved certification of the ISO 27001 standard in January 2018.
