Basic Info

Based in the historic Liberties area of Dublin city centre (D8), The Digital Hub is an enterprise cluster for growing technology companies, and is the largest and longest established Hub in Ireland. Almost 50 established businesses operate in The Digital Hub. Together these businesses employ just over 400 people. We can provide everything from a single desk to offices of over 3,500 square feet, and have almost 20 years experience helping international companies find their feet in Ireland. We aim to provide flexibility, community and opportunity for our members, with a deep and wide network to public and private sector organisations, as well as professional service providers we can help connect our members to. We are particularly keen to hear from companies in the Health and Environmental sectors, but we also host companies in the Creative Industries, Digital Media, Cybersecurity and Gaming.

One of our latest initiatives is SmartD8. This partnership between leading local hospitals, medical research facilities, design colleges, Dublin City Council and ourselves is setting out to improve the health and well being of local citizens. Members can participate in calls to implement pilot projects. While health and well being is the initial focus for SmartD8, we intend to extend the initiative with an Environmental focus in due course.

Why work with us

  • At the Digital Hub, situated in Dublin’s city centre, we have been helping international companies build a home in Ireland since 2003 – including household names like Amazon, Etsy and Slack.
  • Situated in Dublin’s historic Liberties district, right beside the Guinness brewery, The Digital Hub is within walking distance of all Dublin’s main cultural, social and transport amenities.
  • Our buildings have all been repurposed from traditional industrial buildings formerly used in the distilling and brewing business.
  • As a government agency, we are unusual in that we have both a local community development remit, as well as helping to nurture the best homegrown and international digital technology businesses.
  • We have a particular focus on companies with innovative Health and Environmental products and services, but we also host companies in the Creative Industries, Enterprise Saas, Gaming and Cyber Security.
  • Our members really appreciate our flexibility, community and the opportunities that membership of the Digital Hub brings them.
  • If you are setting up in Ireland for the first time, we can introduce you to whomever you need to get started, from professional service providers to industry partners.
